Zoning Board of Appeals
The Rootstown Township Board of Appeals is a five (5)-member board made up of local citizens who volunteer their time to hear and decide appeals of the Rootstown Township Zoning Resolutions. The Board of Appeals hears request for Conditional permits for the use of lands and buildings specifically listed in the Rootstown Township Zoning Resolution, other functions may include resolving property location disputes, and authorizing or change of nonconforming uses. The Rootstown Township Board of Appeals meets if necessary on the 1st Tuesday of the month.
