SEALED BIDS will be received at the office of the Rootstown Road Superintendent, 3988 St. Rt. 44 (lower level), Rootstown, OH 44272 until 3:00 p.m., E.S.T. on November 25, 2008 for furnishing all labor, equipment, sanitary sewer later, oil separation tank, grinder lift station, 3” sanitary force main and any and all appurtenances needed to provide Rootstown Township Hall with public sanitary sewer.

Bids will be opened, read aloud and tabulated at 5:35 p.m., E.S.T. on November 25, 2008 at the Rootstown Township Town Hall, 3988 St. Rt. 44 (upper level), Rootstown OH 44272.

Plans, specifications and estimate of quantities for said improvements are on file with the Rootstown Township Trustees. This notice can also be viewed on the Rootstown Township website: www: rootstowntwp.com

Bids are to be submitted on unit quantities with unit price and total bid for each item on specifications. All bids must be submitted on the Bid Forms included in the proposal. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid or a bid guarantee in the full amount of the bid, to guarantee that if said bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of it properly secured. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a bond in the sum of 100% of the contract price for the faithful performance of the contract.

Attention to bidders is particularly called to the minimum prevailing state wage rates required to be paid, established by the State of Ohio, Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Women, Minors and Minimum Wage.

The Rootstown Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof.
